To zoom in press and hold the 'CTRL' key while rotating the mouse wheel.

To reset the zoom to normal, press and hold the 'CTRL' key and press the '0' (zero) key.
Note: You may need to press the '0' key above the 'P' key and not the '0' on the on numeric key pad.
